For the 25th Anniversary of NALAC’s Leadership Institute, I served as Lead Designer, creating a complete visual identity to celebrate this milestone. The project honored 25 years of leadership, community, and creativity within the Latino arts field, calling for a design system that felt both festive and professional.

Challenge

NALAC wanted to commemorate the 25th anniversary of its Leadership Institute with a refreshed visual language that reflected its legacy while engaging a new generation of cultural leaders. The challenge was to create a cohesive design system that captured the institute’s energy, history, and impact — all while aligning with NALAC’s established brand.

Design Solution

I developed a unified visual identity that brought the celebration to life across print and digital platforms, including:

  • Anniversary Logo: A celebratory mark integrating “25 Years” into NALAC’s visual style, symbolizing growth and community.

  • Color Palette & Design Motifs: A vibrant evolution of NALAC’s brand colors, enhanced with gold and graphic elements that convey movement and progress.

  • Social Media Templates: Custom layouts for announcements, alumni highlights, and event storytelling.

  • Email Banners & Digital Assets: Branded visuals for newsletters and outreach campaigns to maintain a consistent look and feel.

The design system established a strong visual tone for the anniversary year, reinforcing NALAC’s role as a leading voice for Latino arts and cultural leadership.

Outcome

The new anniversary branding elevated NALAC’s communications across social media and email, creating a unified and celebratory identity that connected the institute’s past, present, and future. The visual approach helped engage alumni, partners, and new audiences in celebrating 25 years of leadership and impact.

Impact

As lead designer, I translated NALAC’s milestone into a vibrant, story-driven visual identity that celebrated its mission and community. My work strengthened the organization’s brand presence and provided a cohesive system that could be extended across future campaigns and programs.
